Bob has co-founded the following information technology companies: Sybase, GetActive Software, Zight and Britton-Lee. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for GetActive. In 1984, he co-founded Sybase, which developed SQL Server and was an initial provider of client/server computing. Sybase grew into a billion dollar business with the inclusion of middleware and development tools. Bob is also the co-founder of Environmental Entrepreneurs, a national community of business people who believe in protecting the environment while building economic prosperity. E2 members have been involved in financing, creating or involved in the early development of over 800 companies and currently represent more than $20 billion in private equity capital under management. |
