In 2007, Bob formed The Grayson Company, a consultancy focusing on issues related to product, marketing, and sales, and offering consulting services in many aspects of store design, as well as IT, logistics, real estate, and staffing. From 2004 to 2007, he was a minority partner in an executive search firm, BerglassGrayson. During the 1990s, Bob was closely involved in the growth of Tommy Hilfiger Corporation, serving first as a consultant, then Director, and finally as Chairman of Tommy Hilfiger Retail Inc. and Vice-Chairman of the corporation. Prior to Tommy Hilfiger, he was with The Limited Inc. for over 20 years and had been instrumental in growing The Limited retail chain from what was initially 5 stores into an $8 billion business with over 5,000 stores nationwide. Bob ultimately served as president and CEO of the two largest divisions, Limited Stores and Lerner New York. Bob currently serves as a board member of one publicly held corporation, Kenneth Cole, and four privately held companies, St. John Knits, Lillian August, U-Food, and Stax Inc. He has a BA in Economics from Indiana University. |
