Bob Hagenau's 20 year career in the software business includes positions as a key player in multiple successful start-ups as well as well-known public companies. At Purisma, Bob is responsible for the definition of Purisma's product strategy, positioning of solutions and corporate development activities Prior to founding Purisma, Bob was a founding member of Acta Technology, a leader in data integration and data warehousing solutions, which was acquired by Business Objects in August of 2002 for $65 million. Bob served as Acta's Vice President of Product Management and Product Marketing, leading the creation of two successful product lines and 16 core products in a highly competitive, rapidly changing market. He has also held several senior product management and software engineering positions at Advent Software, Apple Computer and IBM. Bob has an MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science with highest honors from the University of California, Davis. He also serves as Chair of the Finance Committee on the Board of Directors for the International Justice Mission, a human rights organization based in Washington DC. |
