Dr. McRuer�s product development experience includes head-mounted displays, optical data storage, fiber-based nondestructive testing and fiber modulators. McRuer has expertise in plastic optics manufacturing, optomechanical design, diffractive/micro optics, illumination, and microdisplays. Previous positions include Senior Optical Engineer at Virtual IO and IOptics. He holds both a Doctor of Electrical Engineering degree and Master of Electrical Engineering degree from Stanford. |
