Boyse started his seismic career in Canada in 1980 working for a small Canadian owned company called Sonics Explorations. Sonics Explorations soon became Geco. Geco-Prakla. Schlumberger and eventually WesternGeco after merging with Western Geophysical. The small company he started with 27 years ago ended up being one of the world leaders in the seismic industry. With over 27 years in the industry, Harris has held such positions as North America Field Service Manager, Senior Product Development Engineer based in Norway, Global Support Engineer supporting all WesternGeco crews worldwide and most recently Instrument Supervisor for all of WesternGeco� Egypt operations. Most of his career, he traveled the world working in such places as Siberia, the sand seas of North Africa and the mountains of North and South America. He brings almost 30 years of experience in the seismic industry and many innovative ideas to the SES team which he joined in 2007. |
