Brad's functional expertise is in the areas of corporate development & finance (including M&A, private equity, and strategic planning and initiatives), business process improvement (especially in data management), and internal audit processes. He has both Big 4 and multiple industry experience, including consulting services, real estate, communications & technology, software, and consumer products. He is especially skilled in internal audit, systems process design, due diligence, and strategic planning. In addition, he has exceptional skills in business & financial analysis and modeling.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron, Brad was a director and project manager with Callaway Partners, now a Huron Consulting Group Practice.
Prior to joining Callaway Partners, Brad served head of corporate development and finance for VWN Corp, a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). Brad was responsible for coordinating executive management in constructing the services, products, and growth plan for the business as well as securing additional equity and debt financing for growth. Brad helped secure necessary backbone network agreements from major wireless phone company and OSS vendors, handset manufacturers, and call control technology.
Previously, Brad served as Vice President for KPMG Corporate Finance's Communications & Media Group. Brad's main responsibilities with KPMG Corporate Finance were client advisory involving corporate strategy, capital raising, and acquisition and disposition, as well as merger integration. His clients included startup network service providers to software application service providers to equipment manufacturers and many others. Brad also served two and a half years as a senior consultant in KPMG's Real Estate Capital Strategies group where he worked for and advised clients on all aspects of commercial real estate financial management, transactions, and operational performance. His clients included large institutional investors to pure real estate developers and managers to Fortune 500 companies.
Additionally, Brad has published in the Journal of Real Estate Finance and developed proprietary contract management software during his career at KPMG.
Brad has held positions at SunTrust Banks as a securities trader, business and capital markets analyst, and business development manager, as well as positions at Tetra Pak in product development and briefly with Seven Network Australia as special assistant to the CEO.
