Brad began his career with Grunau in 1997 as a plumber apprentice. In 2004, after working as foreman, he came out of the field to become a Mechanical Systems Coordinator. The position utilizes 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) for the coordination of various mechanical systems. The process expedites both the pre-fabrication and the installation of the systems. Brad has been recognized as an industry leader in the application of BIM technology for construction, recently speaking at a BIM Symposium for the American Institute of Constructors. In 2007 he assumed responsibility over all of Grunau?s coordination processes, becoming Mechanical Coordination Manager. Brad is a licensed Master Plumber, certified in medical gas system installation and competent person for excavating and trenching. In 2005 Brad became a member of the LEAN steering committee. |
