Brad Painter joined Lantronix as Vice President of Channel Sales in April 2004, and was quickly tasked with overseeing the entire worldwide channel sales strategy in November of the same year. In this expanded role, he is responsible for all aspects of the company's channel sales, including inside and field sales, distribution, value-added reseller (VAR) partners and end users in the Americas and Europe.
Painter brings nearly 20 years of international and domestic sales, marketing and management experience to Lantronix. Prior to joining the company, he was Director of Worldwide Sales at JNI/AMCC, where he was responsible for HBA sales through OEM and Channel partners worldwide. He had similar duties as Director of Worldwide Channel Sales for Crossroads Systems, Inc., a market leader in storage routing.
Painter's earlier positions included General Manager of Storage and Memory for Microage/Pinacor; Sales Manager for the Americas for Exabyte Corporation; Regional Storage Specialist and National Account Manager for Hewlett Packard; Product Manager for Intelligent Electronics; and Account Manager for IBM. He received his MBA from Pepperdine University. |
