Brad is a principal and consulting actuary with the Seattle office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1972. He is a past board member of Milliman.

Brad's business experience spans a wide range of consulting to benefit plan sponsors and insurers. His expertise includes retirement plan design, financing, financial reporting, administration, and computer systems. He has also consulted extensively on postretirement medical benefit design and funding. Brad regularly serves as engagement leader on multi-disciplinary assignments involving actuarial consulting, administration, and communications.

Leading a high-level client study team in an evaluation of their retirement plan design. A replacement plan for new hires, with choice for existing employees, was the result. Milliman led the new plan design and choice communications work
Designing nonqualified deferred compensation plan for regional hospital
Leading compensation study for retirement benefit adequacy
Leading the pension and retiree medical plan impact study of a major divestiture
Designing and implemented web-based retirement planning tools

Presentations and publications
Brad is a frequent speaker before professional and client groups and has authored articles on current employee benefit issues for the Employee Benefit Research Institute, Benefits Perspectives, and other publications. He recently presented a speech "A Tourist's Guide to Lifetime Income" on retirement planning for single sum retirement account plans.
