Mr. Rothenberg concentrates his practice in the field of Community Association Law. He has experience stemming from his service as Vice-President and member of the Board of Directors of Del Mar Village Homeowners' Association (Village Del Mar). In that capacity, he has overseen covenant revitalization, the drafting of new Association documents necessitated by the Marketable Record Title Act (MRTA) and various litigation matters. Mr. Rothenberg managed a successful solo practice, wherein he served as General Counsel to a local full service real estate brokerage with six (6) south Florida locations, including five (5) retail stores. The company conducted more than 50,000 real estate transactions in its six (6) year history. In that capacity, he has handled general corporate, residential and commercial real estate and property management transactions and issues. He is a licensed member of Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund (the "Fund") and writes title insurance on residential and commercial purchases, sales and refinances. Mr. Rothenberg has handled all aspects of landlord, tenant and eviction matters. He has also performed services in connection with collection and litigation relating to the accounts of the company. Previously, Mr. Rothenberg was a corporate and securities practitioner for more than six (6) years, wherein he simultaneously served as counsel to two dozen public issuers. He authored their periodic and special reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and managed their compliance issues, including Sarbanes Oxley and Blue Sky compliance. Mr. Rothenberg also submitted requests for initial quotation to the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and requests for inclusion in Standard & Poor's standard reports.
