Bradley G. Lorimier is a co-founder, long term Board Member and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Avalon Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Lorimier has been an independent consultant to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries since 1997. Prior to, he had a long and distinguished business career with several Fortune 500 companies including Human Genome Sciences (HGS) where he was a Director and Senior Vice President of Business Development. Before HGS, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Johnson & Johnson where he served as Vice President of Licensing for the Pharmaceutical Sector, Vice President of Corporate Development for Ortho McNeil and as member of the Management Committee. He has also served as an Executive Committee Member of the RWJ Pharmaceutical Research Institute and held senior management positions with Sterling Drugs and Revlon Health Care.
Mr. Lorimier is a current Director, and former Chairman of the Board, for Invitrogen Corporation. He is also currently a Director for several private venture companies and was a past director of Matrix Pharmaceutical, Inc. Mr. Lorimier has a B.S. from the University of Illinois. |
