Brenda concentrates her practice exclusively in the area of bankruptcy, representing individual unsecured and secured creditors, committees, trustees, disbursing agents and buyers in reorganizations and liquidations. Brenda is also a certified mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona. Significant cases in which Brenda has been involved include the Chapter 11 reorganizations of the Lincoln Savings Subsidiaries, the Circle K Corporation, the Registry Resort and Western Medical, Inc. Brenda is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy issues and has appeared as a guest commentator on the public news show, Horizon. Prior to starting practice in 1990, Brenda served as an intern for the Honorable Robert Corcoran of the Supreme Court of Arizona, Senator Dennis DeConcini, with respect to his position on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and Senator Jane Hardy Cease of the Oregon State Senate.
