Brendan Burnett-Stohner is a Vice Chairman and Executive Committee Member with CTPartners based in New York and Los Angeles. Her search practice focuses on key account management; "C" suite searches for these accounts and leveraging the experiences of other partners to work within those accounts. Brendan has worked extensively in the financial services industry where she has recruited c-level executives for some of the most impressive firms. Brendan has also worked extensively to develop the CTPartners Inclusion Practice which spans all of the firm�s industry sectors and functional practices.
Usually working for the Board of Directors, investors, chairmen and CEOs, Brendan has conducted CEO, CFO and Board searches for both private and public companies. Brendan has done extensive work in the CFO, CRO, CCO, CMO and other "C" suite functions. She has also completed a number of general counsel and compliance searches.
She joined CTPartners from Heidrick & Struggles where she was a Senior Partner in the Global Financial Services Practice. Brendan joined Heidrick & Struggles in 1999 through the acquisition of Sullivan & Company, where she was a Senior Managing Director and one of the firm's original partners. Her search career began in 1989, and she worked in Wall Street firms for 10 years prior to executive search. It is her ability to sit on both sides of the desk that adds particular value to her clients.
Brendan is regularly requested for keynote speaking engagements and as a host for panels. She haspublished articles on the need to include cultural fit as part of the due diligence in acquisitions and on human capital requirements within enterprise risk management and has extensive experience in advising clients who are nearing an IPO about hiring talent and Board members to become public.
She has held a number of Board positions and is currently involved with fund raising for two organizations which focus on providing shelter, employment counseling and clothing for homeless women and their children. She is also active in fund raising for the College of William & Mary.
