Brett D. Feldman is a member of the Firm's Zoning and Land Use Practice Group. His practice concentrates on zoning and land use matters as well as other permit and counseling issues. Mr. Feldman's employment background includes working at the Philadelphia and Delaware County Planning Commissions, as well as the United States Environmental Protection Agency. This unique background enables him to work closely with developers, architects, and other construction professionals in order to prepare the necessary plans that comprise the land use approval process.
Mr. Feldman also has experience in obtaining the necessary permits and approvals that enable a developer to build or renovate a building, or operate a business. As part of this process, Mr. Feldman works closely with various City agencies including the Planning Commission, Department of Licenses & Inspections, Streets Department, Historical Commission, Art Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment as well as City Council. Drawing on his planning background and community involvement, he also works directly with local community groups and elected officials to secure their support for his clients' projects. Once zoning approvals are obtained, he assists in obtaining necessary building-related permits, operational licenses, and tax abatements. |
