Brian A. Schroeder is a partner in the firm�s Chicago office, where he concentrates his practice in appellate law. With over ten years of experience in appellate law, Mr. Schroeder has an extensive knowledge of all aspects of the appellate process and has handled over seventy appeals, which have resulted in over thirty published decisions. He has filed numerous petitions for leave to appeal and motions for a supervisory order with the Illinois Supreme Court. Mr. Schroeder has argued before the Illinois Supreme Court, and all five districts of the Illinois Appellate Court. In addition to his appellate practice, Mr. Schroeder handles post trial motions and dispositive motions in the state and federal courts. In the April 2001 edition of the DRI Magazine For the Defense, Mr. Schroeder published an article on the Restatement (Third) of Tort: Product Liability entitled "Manufacturers Beware: The Attack on Product Warnings". In the Summer, 2002 Edition of the DRI Hand and Power Tools Newsletter, Mr. Schroeder published an article on the Restatement (Third) of Tort: "Product Liability a Duty Warn for a Product That Isn�t Defective At Sale". In law school Mr. Schroeder was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Law Review.
