Brian Bock is a senior counsel in the Cerritos office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. Mr. Bock primarily practices labor and employment law, representing California school and community college districts, as well as private employers. He focuses on defending against and preventing employment discrimination and other employment disputes especially those involving sexual harassment. He also advises clients on developing effective strategies for proactive employee management and labor relations, discipline and dismissals, and compliance with federal and state labor laws. Mr. Bock regularly represents clients in litigation arbitration, administrative proceedings, and collective bargining. Mr. Bock is licensed to practice law in New York, Florida, Georgia and California. Mr. Bock joined Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo in 1997. Prior to joining the firm, he was associated with two prominent labor and employment law firms in California and Georgia, and was an attorney-advisor with the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, D.C., aiding in the area of employer enforcement. Mr. Bock has presented at workshops and conferences for various organizations on a range of labor and employment topics. He also regularly performs in-house training for clients in areas such as wage-hour compliance, sexual harrassment, FRISK documentation model and the PROOF investigation program. |
