Brian E. Murray joined Cullen and Dykman LLP in 1993 and has been a partner of the firm since 2002. His responsibilities in the Banking Department include representing financial institutions and other clients in commercial real estate finance transactions and advising financial institutions on regulatory and compliance issues. Mr. Murray also represents several cooperative and condominium complexes and represents a number of the firm's clients in the leasing, purchase and sale of commercial real estate. Mr. Murray's regulatory and compliance practice includes advising banks and credit unions on numerous federal and state statutes and regulations governing the operation of financial institutions and covering a wide range of areas including community reinvestment, truth-in-savings, funds availability, electronic funds transfers, fair lending, ATM safety and RESPA. In addition to providing general regulatory counsel to established institutions, Mr. Murray has advised clients and prepared applications to federal and state regulatory authorities for the chartering of new financial institutions and holding companies. |
