Mr. Harvey concentrates his practice on securing the necessary governmental approvals from municipal, county and state agencies for the development of commercial and residential real estate, with a focus on matters pertaining to redevelopment law. In connection with the foregoing, Mr. Harvey is familiar with and prepares documents for development applications and has extensive experience in representing clients before the requisite municipal, county and state agencies to obtain the necessary approvals for both residential and commercial land use developments. Mr. Harvey is knowledgeable in all facets of the redevelopment process with considerable expertise in public financing. Additionally, Mr. Harvey has experience with the preparation and filing of public offering statements, registration documents, and compliance with the department of state and federal regulations for planned residential developments.
Mr. Harvey counsels clients in complex commercial land acquisitions. This includes both preparation of due diligence reports to determine the feasibility of development of real property for client review as well as guiding clients through the process of commercial real estate closings. Moreover, he is experienced in the preparation of purchase and sale documents.
Mr. Harvey has extensive experience in preparing applications to the State and County Agricultural Boards for agricultural designations and in negotiating and drafting documents necessary for clients to convey agricultural development easements. Mr. Harvey is skilled in the preparation of the documents necessary for the transfer of New Jersey Division of Alcohol and Beverage Control Liquor Licenses and the procurement of licenses for the production of alcoholic beverages.
