Brian J. Hickey is the Administrative Partner in the firm's DuPage County office. That office handles litigation in numerous collar counties, including DuPage, Will, Kane, Kendall, Grundy, DeKalb, LaSalle, Kankakee, Winnebago and others. He concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation with an emphasis on professional negligence (medical, dental and legal malpractice), construction law, premises liability, product liability, motor vehicle, commercial litigation and toxic torts. Mr. Hickey has served as the lead trial attorney in professional negligence, motor vehicle, premises liability and insurance coverage cases. He has successfully argued before the Illinois Appellate Court. In addition to his trial experience, Mr. Hickey has represented manufacturers of various products as diverse as railroad cranes, tire changing machines and sump pumps. His motor vehicle and construction law practice includes numerous wrongful death cases and catastrophic injury matters. Mr. Hickey's medical malpractice experience includes representation of hospitals, physicians and nursing homes. Those physicians represented by Mr. Hickey include various medical specialties, including orthopaedics, emergency medicine, general surgery, neurosurgery, nephrology, urology and gastroenterology. |
