As Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer of Security Business Bank, Brian Smith is responsible for the direct underwriting of various types of commercial credit requests and the direct management of a portfolio of business banking relationships for small to medium-sized businesses.
Mr. Smith's resume includes over 15 years of commercial loan officer and bank relationship management experience throughout the San Diego region, including positions with US Bank, Peninsula Bank of San Diego, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. He most recently served as Commercial Loan Officer/Relationship Manager/Branch Manager - Vice President for Southwest Community Bank in Carlsbad where he focused on relationship building and customer advocacy for commercial banking customers.
Mr. Smith obtained his B.S. in Business Administration Management from Colorado State University and is currently working towards his graduate level degree from Pacific Coast Banking School.
Mr. Smith is the 1st Vice President and a board member of the San Diego Chapter of the Risk Management Association (RMA) and is a member of the Colorado State University Alumni Association. |
