Co-lead counsel for automobile manufacturer in nine week arbitration in which software developer sought $70 million for development and implementation of system in all of manufacturer's plants. Obtained dismissal of $50 million of claim on motion.
Lead counsel for automotive manufacturers and suppliers in dozens of cases involving breach of contract and stop shipment threats, including pursuit of injunctive relief to maintain production of critical components and avoid plant shutdowns.
Lead counsel in defense of manufacturer against claim for lost profits arising out of an unsuccessful attempt to develop and build an intermodal transportation facility. Obtained summary disposition and complete dismissal of Plaintiff's claims.
Co-lead trial counsel in defense of AT&T in multi-million dollar dispute brought by reseller of pre-paid calling card services.
Lead counsel in successful prosecution of claim by JP Morgan Chase to recover approximately $2 million on various defaulted loan agreements. Won summary judgment and recovered all amounts owed, including all attorney fees.
Lead trial counsel for NBA player Jermaine O'Neal in federal court trial arising out of the "Palace Brawl" in 2004. Won "no cause" verdict. Also successfully defended Mr. O'Neal in four other civil actions arising out of the same incident.
Representation of major U.S. airline in antitrust class action brought by millions of airline passengers.
