A member of the Estate Planning and Probate practice group, Brian R. Della Rocca was named to the 2009 Rising Stars list in Maryland Super Lawyers magazine. In addition to estate planning, he advises clients on employee benefit and executive compensation matters. In his private practice, Mr. Della Rocca strives to find solutions to his clients� needs in the most cost-effective manner.
A frequent speaker on estate planning topics, Mr. Della Rocca has held seminars for several community organizations. Leisure World, a large age-restricted community in Montgomery County, Maryland, the Maryland Society of Accountants and King Farm Community Association are among the groups that he has addressed. Mr. Della Rocca is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Suburban Maryland, an interdisciplinary organization for professionals involved in estate planning.
Prior to joining Stein Sperling, the Albany, New York native worked for the New York Legislature as a Research and Training Representative. In this position, Mr. Della Rocca trained attorneys and lobbyists on the proper use of a legislative tracking computer program. He received a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta, a J.D. degree from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and received an LL.M. degree in Taxation with a Certificate in Employee Benefits from Georgetown University.
