Brian Bean has more than 25 years of investment banking, institutional derivatives and asset management experience. Brian joined CRT in 2007 and heads the Technology Banking practice, runs the Firm�s West Coast operations and serves on the Executive Committee and on the Commitment Committee. Prior to joining CRT, he was Vice-Chairman and Co-Head of Investment Banking at Montgomery & Co., where he ran the Firm�s Technology banking practice. He was a member of Montgomery�s Board and of the Executive and Management Committees. Previously, Brian was Co-Head of Corporate Finance and Head of Global Technology Banking at Robertson Stephens. Prior to joining Robertson, Brian held senior positions at Pacific Holding Corporation and with Kidder Peabody where he ran the institutional derivatives practice in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Before that, Brian was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley and with Goldman Sachs in New York, and with Barclays National Merchant Bank in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa. He is a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Pomona College, where he was a dual major in botany molecular biochemistry and biophysics and in zoology. Brian was awarded his MBA by the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was a Miller scholar. Before business school, Brian was a captain in the United States Marine Corps, serving with the 1st Marine Division. |
