Brian Boigner will begin his 11th season as the club's Equipment Manager. He is responsible for properly outfitting players with the safest and most advanced equipment, as well as ordering and maintaining all of the team's equipment and sideline apparel. Boigner also oversees the transportation of equipment and uniforms to and from all road trips and to the Georgia Dome.
Boigner came to Atlanta after a five-year stint with the New York Giants (1992-97). He is only the third equipment manager in Falcons' team history. The 40 year-old Brooklyn,Ohio native began his career in 1984 as a student manager at his alma mater, Kent State University. He was elevated to the position of Equipment Manager four years later. In 1992, Boigner worked as an Assistant Equipment Manager of the N.Y./N.J. Knights of the World League of American Football.
He has a son, Bryce (9), and a daughter, Sarah (6). |
