Dr. Erling is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and went on to complete an emergency medicine residency at the University of Virginia, where he spent one year as the Chief Resident. He obtained board certification in emergency medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and has obtained Fellow status with the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Erling is a founding partner of Apex Emergency Group, and currently works as an attending physician at two of the St. Anthony Hospitals, which includes the emergency department of a Level I trauma center. Hospital responsibilities have included the Critical Care Council, as well as being a driving force with the Stroke Clinical Effectiveness Team. In addition to hospital duties and time working with SmartCare, Dr. Erling has had the pleasure of working on the sidelines for the Denver Broncos. He is dedicated to the concept of SmartCare providing quality, affordable, and hassle-free healthcare for all Americans. Dr. Erling received his Medical Doctorate from Johns Hopkins and a BS in biology from Drake University. |
