Brian brings over 20 years of sales, marketing, strategy and business development experience in the upstream oil & gas service, merchant energy, and oilfield manufacturing industries. Prior to Glori, Brian was Director of Sales and Marketing for PGI International where he led 20% annual sales growth and positioned the company as a global manufacturing company before selling to private equity. His broad energy industry experience includes business development and risk management positions at Enron International and Enron Wholesale, E&P equity research for Southwest Securities and independent consulting engagements with E&P companies. Brian managed a grass roots sales and marketing effort for E-lecTrade, a venture capital funded Internet-based power trading company, leading to commercial contracts with over fifty large utilities and merchant power companies. Brian's twelve year career with Schlumberger started as a field engineer providing open and cased-hole, wireline services in Alaska, New Mexico and onshore Gulf of Mexico. In Dallas, in sold integrated open-hole, cased-hole, pumping, well testing, and Production Enhancement services to oil and gas customers with U.S. operations that include onshore and offshore Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi, Rocky Mountains, and San Jaun, Arkoma, Permian, and Illinois Basins.Brian received a bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering at University of Tulsa and a M.B.A. from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Instrumentation Society of America (ISA) |
