Tried breach of contract action in federal court for financial services company and obtained $3.7 million judgment.
Tried product liability case to no cause verdict in state court for automobile manufacturer claimed to have made defective power steering hose that caused vehicle fire.
Tried automobile negligence case in state court and obtained 40% comparative negligence finding against plaintiff despite statutory presumption of corporate client's prima facie negligence because his vehicle struck rear of plaintiff's vehicle.
Represented vehicle manufacturers/suppliers in dozens of pricing and contract disputes, including matters for Chrysler LLC, Ford Motor Company, and Johnson Controls, Inc., which jeopardize the operation of the manufacturers and suppliers.
Represented manufacturers, suppliers, and sellers of consumer, commercial, and industrial products in claims or lawsuits, involving various products, including air bags, ballasts, garage door openers, golf cars, lifts, and motor vehicles.
Negotiated and drafted terms of separation agreement between software vendor threatening litigation with college.
Represented school in actions brought by students claiming: 1) unfair treatment resulting in failure, dismissal from program, and damages of over $100,000; 2) investigative failure resulting in student's wrongful arrest and conviction for crime.
Represented insurance company in lawsuit against agency and its employee arising out of fraudulent insurance claims made by the employee that totaled more than $350,000.
Represented financial services company in NASD arbitration brought against the company and an independent agent for the investor's claimed loss of value of her life savings due to agent steering her to inappropriate investments.
Represented creditor in high-value claim and delivery and collections actions involving single or multiple pieces of heavy equipment with values ranging from $50,000 to $4,000,000.
Represented individual and corporate defendant in automobile accident case where a well-paid plaintiff was claiming $350,000 in lost wages because he could no longer work due to injuries from the accident.
Served as Michigan counsel for three asbestos defendants, a product manufacturer and two different suppliers. In this capacity I've overseen and resolved scores of asbestos personal injury cases.
