Dr. Bridgit Mitchell is an experienced leader and researcher in the health industry with a focus on worksite health promotion. Of special interest to Dr. Mitchell is targeting higher-risk populations at the worksite and making wellness opportunities appealing and readily available to them. As Vice President of Gordian's Continental Health Promotion subsidiary, Dr. Mitchell oversees product development activities for worksite locations. She currently oversees worksite wellness contracts serving more than 165,000 employees. Her team creates programs, materials and online opportunities that keep health and behavior change on employees' minds. She leads evaluation projects that measure the results of employee participation in these health promotion activities. Her strengths include program design, implementation and evaluation, as well as building systems and relationships to grow the programs.Dr. Mitchell's research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the International Journal of Consumer Studies and Educational Research. She earned her doctorate in public health and master's degree in public health from Loma Linda University School of Public Health in San Bernardino, California. |
