Briggs was the CEO of Citysearch.com a division of InterActiveCorp. Briggs built Citysearch into a leading local directory and search engine introducing the first local PFP advertising engine into the market place and pioneering several new technologies to drive Citysearch's business and the local online ad market. Prior to Citysearch, Briggs was EVP of Launch Media, a leading provider of music videos and audio online. During his tenure he was instrumental in bringing personalized audio and video players to users and developing integrated advertising into this new medium. Launch's success led to its acquisition by Yahoo! Before joining Launch, Briggs held several positions at EMI music, including worldwide Director of Corp development and business strategy and SVP of marketing, overseeing product and marketing efforts of its US labels |
