Brigitte has experience in all areas and with all types of real estate (such as shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, office parks, industrial parks, restaurants and fast-food establishments, gas stations, and convenience stores). She advises clients on transactions involving real estate portfolios and multiple properties in multiple states and emphasizing lending, workouts, leasing, purchases/sales and sale-leaseback transactions.
Brigitte works in all areas of commercial mortgage and asset-based lending, with special expertise in the representation of franchise loan originators and mortgage loan originators in securitized lending programs. Her expertise includes, the development and updating of program loan documents and guidelines for closing processes and procedures, loan documentation and negotiation, and supervision of the loan closing and due diligence process. With regard to workouts, Brigitte represents debtors and creditors in problem loan modifications, workouts, restructurings, and asset/property dispositions out of bankruptcy or receivership, with expertise in all aspects of settlement and forbearance agreements, post-petition debtor-in-possession financing and revolving line-of-credit agreements, deed-in-lieu of foreclosure agreements, foreclosures, and receivership.
Brigitte represents landlords and tenants in the preparation and negotiation of retail, restaurant, office, and shopping center space, and other general leases for all types of commercial properties, including masto leases in the multiple property context. In addition, she assists buyers, sellers, and investors in the acquisition and disposition of all types of commercial properties (with special expertise in hotels and franchise properties), handling the preparation and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, brokerage, marketing and management agreements.
