A. Bruce Dansbury is Executive Vice President of Sun National Bank�s Credit Division. He also is the bank's Chief Operating Officer, managing the bank�s daily operations and reporting to the Board of Directors. In this role, he oversees the bank�s senior executive team and focuses on strategic and tactical decisions to continue delivering competitive products and services to Sun�s customer base.
He also serves at the bank�s Senior Credit Officer and Chief Credit Policy Officer, where he is responsible for Sun�s credit products and policies, as well as providing senior-level review and management of Sun�s credit portfolio.
Mr. Dansbury brings nearly 30 years of management and senior-level experience in wholesale and consumer banking to Sun. He has built a successful banking career managing high performance teams focused on achieving aggressive financial goals. Prior to joining Sun National Bank in 2001, Mr. Dansbury served as Business Banking Executive at First Union National Bank. He began his extensive business banking career as a Branch Manager with New Jersey National Bank in 1975, progressing through the ranks to Assistant Vice President-Area Manager, Vice President-Regional Manager, Senior Vice President of the Consumer Banking Division (CoreStates/New Jersey National Bank), Senior Vice President of the Commercial Business Group (CoreStates), and Portfolio Manager for First Union/CoreStates� entire southern New Jersey region, managing a total credit portfolio in excess of $2.1 billion.
Mr. Dansbury is Past Director and Past President of the Trenton Downtown Association. He also previously served on the board of the ShopRite Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Classic. He currently is a member of the Rutgers University Executive Advisory Council and the Rider University Business Advisory Board. He also serves on the board of the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce and the Thomas Edison Foundation.
Mr. Dansbury holds a bachelor of science in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and a minor in Accounting, from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA. |
