Bruce M. King is vice president and general manager of Communications Systems for Rockwell Collins Government Systems. King is responsible for the company's military communications business. He was named to the position in September 2002.
Previously, King served as director, Air Mobility, Bombers and Special Mission Programs for Government Systems Integrated Applications, a position he was appointed to in 2001. King joined the company in 1984 and has held various management positions of increasing responsibility, including director of C/KC-135 programs, GATM program manager and C/KC-135 Pacer CRAG program manager.
A native of Memphis, Tenn., King earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University.
He is a member of the Airlift Tanker Association, Association of the United States Army and the Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce.
