Dr. Den Hartog, a Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon with the Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center in Rapid City, SD, focuses his practice on orthopedic problems of the foot, ankle, and knee. He obtained his Medical Degree in 1985 from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, Iowa City, Iowa and went on to a Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. His Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery followed at the Medical College of Wisconson. Dr. Den Hartog is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. He actively publishes and presents his research to colleagues at professional meetings. In addition to being Board Certified in Kansas, Wisconson, Iowa and South Dakota, Dr. Den Hartog has taken his surgical skills to clinics in third world settings such as Haiti and Venezuela. |
