Bryan J. Blankfield is Oshkosh Truck's principal legal officer and a member of the executive management team. He serves as an advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors and other senior management members for all the Company's business units and reports directly to Robert Bohn, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Blankfield also serves as a trustee of the Oshkosh Truck Foundation and as a director and Executive Vice President and Secretary of the Company's 25+ subsidiaries, including Geesink Norba Group, McNeilus Companies, Inc., Medtec Ambulance Company, and Pierce Manufacturing Inc.
Blankfield joined Oshkosh Truck Corporation in June 2002. He previously served as in-house legal counsel and consultant for Waste Management, Inc., an international waste services company, and its predecessors from 1990 to 2002. He was appointed Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Waste Management, Inc. in 1995 and Vice President in 1998. From 1987 to 1990, Blankfield was an associate with the Chicago law firm of Bell, Boyd & Lloyd.
Blankfield holds a bachelor's in business administration (accounting major) magna cum laude with departmental honors from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa. He received his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago, in 1987. Blankfield received his certified public accountant certification in May 1983. He is admitted to the Illinois Bar and is a member of the American Bar Association, American Corporate Counsel Association and American Society of Corporate Secretaries. |
