Bryan Porter has been an electrician at Midwest Electric since 1988, and now serves as a Foreman in our Industrial division. Bryan�s current focus is on the management of electrical service and construction for General Mills in Wellston, Ohio.With eighteen years of experience in electrical contracting, Bryan has worked with both large and small companies from a variety of business industries, and has built a strong reputation as an excellent mechanic and wireman.Bryan�s areas of expertise include crew and materials management, project estimating and job design, and management of small and large construction and maintenance projects including plant-wide shutdown work.Bryan is an active electrician and a hands-on manager, providing leadership and instruction to his teammates. He is directly responsible for customer interaction and ensuring optimum customer service at several of our key customers.Bryan received his training through the union�s Joint Apprenticeship Training Program, and he has attended numerous Journeyman upgrade classes. He has also completed several safety courses, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, AC drives, network wiring and controls training. An avid outdoorsman, Bryan enjoys camping and woodworking. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. |
