Harold (Bud) F. Enright, Jr. has served on boards of private technology companies and been a mentor to early stage companies at MIT and the University of Hawaii since his retirement from Hewlett Packard in 2002 where he served as Vice President of Technology Business Development. Previously, he was the Vice President of Corporate Development at Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporation. His prior technology industry career includes senior management positions at IBM, Prime Computer, Wavefront Technologies, and MetPath Inc. He is a director at Current Communications, Advantech Global, and Softricity. As an advisor to the University of Hawaii's College of Business Pacific Asia Management Institute, he has helped with the development of the University's Asian-focused MBA programs. As an active mentor in the MIT Venture Mentoring Service, Mr. Enright provides coaching to start-up companies in a wide variety of technical fields. |
