General Glosson is the largest shareholder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of DesignLine International (a private, hybrid bus manufacturing company). He recently completed a five-year tenure as a member of the National Security Advisory Board to the Director of Central Intelligence.
General Glosson's military service was highlighted by command and leadership positions at every level of the United States Air Force during both peace and war. Following the Gulf War in Iraq, where General Glosson was the "architect" of the Air Campaign; he served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans, Operations and Requirements, where he was responsible for strategic planning, weapons system requirements, and day-to-day worldwide operations for the United States Air Force.
General Glosson was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and received his Electrical Engineering Degree from North Carolina State University. He is also a graduate of the Military's National War College and is the author of War with Iraq: Critical Lessons (released February 2003), as well as several Gulf War and aviation related articles for professional journals. |
