Mr. Gehring was President of Loan Eagle Strategies, Inc., in 1998-99, which provided consulting services for mergers and acquisitions and seed capital venture investments which led to the investment with Dr. Waltzer�s predecessor company to ConvergenceHealth. From 1991 to 1998, he was CEO and President of Applied Computer Technologies, Inc. and EVP/COO of Strategic Resource Solutions Inc., companies that he co-founded and sold to Progress Energy. These companies provided Internet-enabled facility management software systems and energy efficient systems and services to the commercial and institutional markets. In 1998 the companies had over $60 million in revenues and 600 employees. From 1985 to 1991, Mr. Gehring was European Sales and Service Director with Devron-Hercules now a part of Honeywell, which provide process automation and high-tech control systems to the paper industry. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BA in German from Oregon State University and the University of Stuttgart with honors. |
