Cadambi Janardhan (Jana) is the Head of International Consumer Lending, driving strategy of Citi's lending efforts, secured and unsecured, across all client segments in more than 20 countries worldwide. He is a member of both the Global Consumer Group Planning Group and the Citi Management Committee.
During more than 20 years with Citi, Mr. Janardhan has held a variety of positions within the Consumer Bank, both in the U.S. and abroad. He joined Citi as a Management Associate in India, and moved on to hold both business and functional roles, including Chief Financial Officer of the Consumer Bank in India, Business Manager for Western and Southern operations, and Business Head of the Non Resident Indian business, where he transitioned the business from an India-based deposit business to a global wealth management business.
In 1997, he served as the Country Business Manager in Egypt where he launched the Consumer Business and, in 2000, he became Division Executive for Central and Eastern Europe and the United Kingdom. In 2002, he moved to the United States to serve as Managing Director for Mid-Atlantic CitiFinancial, comprising more than 200 branches. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as Head of Customer Experience Management across the Global Consumer Group working across businesses and regions to help drive a new level of client focus and embed the values of Client Advocacy throughout the organization.
Mr. Janardhan has a B.Com. from Bombay University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management. He is also a licensed accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. |
