As President and Founder of King Fish Media, Cam is responsible for developing the marketing strategy and leading the execution of each publishing/media project. His work philosophy is grounded in the belief that media must be held accountable for performance, and that there are truly revolutionary ways for media companies and organizations to communicate with their readers, viewers, clients and prospects. Cam has 18 years of advertising and marketing experience with industry leaders including Arnold Communications, The Robb Report and Ziff Davis Media.
While at Ziff Davis Media & Publishing, Cam worked on PC Week and PC Magazine in sales and marketing management capacities. As Associate Publisher of PC Magazine, the largest business and technology publication available in the market, he managed over $50 million in advertising sales revenue, working with key accounts and partners that included Microsoft, IBM, Dell Computer, America Online, the Consumer Electronic Association, Chrysler and Ford. He led strategy and sales for two additional specialty magazines distributed at newsstands and targeted bookstores. Both of these consumer magazines were designed to help consumers with their first-time technology purchases.
As Managing Director and Publisher of Ziff Davis Custom Media, he managed projects and marketing budgets for the consumer, outdoor enthusiast, technology, automotive, search engine and consumer electronic categories. Cam also launched magazines for Ford Motor Company, Aquent Inc. and CDW, Inc. He has conceived and deployed numerous marketing programs through the utilization of print and electronic magazines, newsletters, direct mail and custom print inserts.
Cam serves on the Board of Directors for A Better Chance Program, a national college preparatory program for gifted students of color. He is a graduate of Hobart College in Geneva, NY.
Cam's primary role with the Pixel Bridge Advisory Board is to help the organization integrate effective new business development strategies into client engagements. His secondary role is to assist with the firm's marketing and corporate strategies. |
