Camilla Olson joined Refugees International in August 2006. In addition to providing program support to the Advocates and other RI travelers while they are in the field, Camilla has conducted an assessment mission with the organization to Thailand and Malaysia focused on the humanitarian situation for Burmese refugees. Before joining RI, Camilla was the Field Relations Manager for InterExchange Au Pair USA, a nonprofit cultural exchange program. She has also had internships with IOM in Geneva, the International Rescue Committee, and Mercy Corps. She received her MA in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University in December 2005 and holds a BA in French from Rutgers University. Camilla is a dual citizen of the United States and Sweden and is fluent in Swedish. |
