Ms. Straight has served since 1997 as a self-employed investment banking consultant specializing in the insurance industry. From 1998 to 2003, she served as an Advisory Director of Securitas Capital (a global private equity investment firm dedicated to making investments in the insurance sector). She currently serves as a director of Neuberger Berman Mutual Funds, National Atlantic Holdings Corporation and Proformance Insurance Company. She is a current or former member or trustee of numerous non-profit boards and commissions. Ms. Straight received her undergraduate degree from Wilson College, where she also received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters, and holds an M.B.A. from New York University.
