Candace is Senior Vice President of Acquisitions/Director of Acquisitions and also serves as Secretary. She directs the Company's acquisition program.
Candace joined WRI in 1983 as Director of Financial Planning working on project financing the restructuring of the Company to a REIT and the initial public offering. She was named Secretary/Treasurer in 1985 was promoted to Vice President/Director of Acquisitions in 1989 and was promoted to her current position in 2003.
Prior to joining WRI she worked for Citibank in New York in the Real Estate Investment and Management Group and spent two years with McFaddin Kendrick Inc. an owner/operator of hotels and other commercial real estate.
Candace graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a degree in Business Administration. She obtained her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. |
