Carey specializes in the recruiting of R&D, Technical, Engineering and Operations professionals in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and ceramics industries. Carey has BS and MS degrees in Ceramic (Materials) Engineering from Clemson University and is a Graduate of the Caterpillar Inc. College Graduate Training Program. He has been a Senior R&D Engineer, R&D Manager and a QA/QC Manager. His industry experience includes engines, ceramic fibers / refractories and chemicals. He has 5 patents and is the Inventor of more than 25 trade secrets. Carey is a Six Sigma Green Belt and a Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and 14001. While a manager in industry, he was responsible for hiring professionals for QA/QC and R&D and was a regular interviewer for all other departments including Production, Marketing, Sales, etc. Carey is a member of several professional associations including American Society for Quality (ASQ), American Ceramic Society (ACerS), American Chemical Society (ACS), and American Institute Chemical Engineers (AIChE).
