Carl L. Norton became the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nationwide when it was organized in January 1998 and has served in such capacities since then. Before founding Nationwide, he practiced law in Houston, Texas most recently with the law firm of Norton, Jacobs, Kuhn & McTopy, L.L.P. Mr. Norton's law practice focused on mergers, acquisitions and public and private offerings of securities. His articles and comments have been featured in such publications as DBA Magazine, The Texas Lawyer, Houston Post, Houston Business Journal and various other business journals and newspapers. He graduated from the University of Houston Law Center where he served on the Houston Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Barons. Following completion of his Bachelor and Master of Business Administration Degrees from Rutgers University, Mr. Norton practiced as a Certified Public Accountant with Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche). |
