Carl Zehnder is a turnaround and crisis management specialist with over 35 years of operations, logistics and process management experience. Throughout his career, he has held numerous operating and executive management positions.
Carl has directed the design and construction of sate-of-the-art warehouse management systems, designed, developed and installed contract tracking and scheduling systems, conceptualized and designed integrated cost-based estimating systems. He has been highly successful in re-engineering back office operations, as well as managing the restructuring of distribution activities including analysis of the distribution networks. His work extends into middle market companies and divisions of Fortune 100 companies in many industries, including agriculture (seed), automotive, high volume printing, insurance and banking.
Carl has successfully served as Acting or Interim Manager and managed projects encompassing corporate restructuring, systems planning, operations and logistics analysis and process re-engineering.
In a previous position, as CIO, Carl restructured and reorganized the support services of the Group Insurance division of a $1B insurance firm. Due to Carl's expertise, the division moved from absolute lowest performer to the most profitable.
An MBA was awarded to Carl from the University of Chicago and a Masters of Science in Administration and Organizational Behavior from George Williams College. He also holds a BME in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering degree from Cleveland State University.
