Dr. Carlton E. Turner has served as a director of Carrington since May 1989 and as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since April 1995. In addition, from January 1994 to November 1994, Dr. Turner was Executive Vice President of the Company, and from November 1994 to April 1995, he was Chief Operating Officer of the Company. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Princeton Diagnostic Laboratories of America, Inc., a biomedical and pharmaceutical testing laboratory, from 1987 through May 1993. He also served as a director of that corporation from 1987 to January 1994. From 1981 through 1987, he was Director of the Drug Abuse Policy Office of the White House as President Reagan's principal advisor on drug abuse policy. From 1970 to 1981, Dr. Turner was a research professor and director of the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Dr. Turner serves as a director of Tutogen Medical, Inc., a publicly traded company. |
