Carol A. Isles is the vice president and controller for CMS Enterprises and
its major wholly owned subsidiaries. She was appointed to this position in
March 2003.
Before being named to her current position, Isles was vice president and controller
for CMS Gas Transmission and interim vice president of accounting for
CMS Marketing, Services and Trading.
In 1998, she was promoted to controller for CMS Gas Transmission after being
named the company�s manager of accounting in 1997. From 1994 to 1997, she
was in the financial and regulatory reporting department of CMS Energy�s principal
subsidiary, Consumers Energy. Isles began her career with CMS Energy�s
diversified energy business unit, CMS Enterprises, as an internal auditor in 1993.
Before joining CMS Enterprises, Isles worked from 1990 to 1993 in Cyprus for
Capital Intelligence, a bank rating agency; in London for Ernst & Young from
1988 to 1990; and in Rome for the Multinational Force and Observers, a peacekeeping
force between Egypt and Israel, from 1986 to 1988. She also worked
for Ernst & Young in Kalamazoo, Mich., from 1982 to 1986.
Isles graduated summa cum laude from Kalamazoo College with a Bachelor
of Arts in mathematics and from the University of Michigan with a Master
of Business Administration degree. She is a certified public accountant and a
member of Phi Beta Kappa. |
