Carolyn M. Capaccio joined LHA in 2004 after having collaborated with the firm in a consulting capacity for more than a year. With 16 years of combined Wall Street and senior financial communications experience in the practice of investor relations, Ms. Capaccio advises clients in a variety of industries on financial-community relations, communication of strategic business objectives, disclosure, and crisis communications. Most recently, she led her own investor relations consultancy, providing high-level advisory to public companies and contributing to special-project teams. Prior to this, she was an Equity Research Analyst at Robertson Stephens, a boutique investment bank and brokerage, where she used an ROIC and DCF focus to analyze catalog, retail, and eCommerce channels in the hard goods, home improvement, specialty retail, consumer electronics, and office retail sectors. Ms. Capaccio also served as Vice President and Group Director at Morgen-Walke Associates, one of the world's largest investor relations firms, managing a group of professionals creating investor relations programs for small- to medium-cap public and IPO-track companies in the retail, consumer products, leisure, textile, manufacturing and distribution, eCommerce and B2B sectors. She also served as a consulting Managing Director at SBG Investor Relations, working on special communications projects. Ms. Capaccio began her career at Prudential-Bache Securities, where she worked at an Equity Coordinator on the firm's Equity Research Desk, liasing between sell-side analysts and financial advisors Ms. Capaccio earned her CFA charter in 1995. She received a BA from Rutgers College, Rutgers University with a degree in Research Biopsychology and a minor in French, and served as a member of the Advisory Board of the Henry Rutgers General Honors Program and also sang in the Voorhees Choir. She enjoys theatre, music, bicycling, and film. |
