Description of Practice:
Catherine A. Babel is senior counsel in the firm's Orange County Office, where she practices in the firm's commercial litigation group. She has been involved in a variety of business litigation and dispute resolution matters on behalf of an array of diverse clients in federal and state court. Ms. Babel has litigated matters that involve complex commercial and real estate contract disputes, business torts, fraud, libel and defamation, insurance and real estate matters.
Ms. Babel is an active member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the Orange County Bar Association.
Educational History:
Ms. Babel received her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire in 1994. She also received the Honors Convocation Award in 1993 and 1994. She received her J.D. in 1997 from Georgetown University Law Center where she represented individuals in civil matters through Georgetown's clinical program, Law Students in Court. |
